Solutions

For many ISPs, CSPs and MSPs, their IT, communication and network systems have grown to become an unmanageable, complex and disparate infrastructure. Originally designed as bespoke applications with which to manage individual business functions and data silos, Operational Support Systems (OSS) were then rolled out as commercial off the shelf (COTS) applications  across organisations.

Today, a tier-one service provider may use up to 1500 different applications, and several large carriers run over 3,000 OSS applications. The growth in the number of applications deployed is showing no sign of slowing down, with each new innovation adding to the complexity of integrating an application with a service provider’s infrastructure. As such, management applications need to give service providers consistent, joined-up tools with which to do business.
